Swiss Children's Museum Baden – Even Grandparents Were Children Once
A trip to the Children's Museum is a special experience for families. The focus is on childhood culture from the last three centuries.
There is a great deal for younger visitors to explore here: what toys did their grandparents find under the Christmas tree? How did nurseries look in the past? How has school changed? This automatically gives rise to a dialogue with all generations able to learn something.
Toys from foreign countries reflect the similarities and differences between childhoods in different cultures. And at the “Hosensackmuseum” (trouser pocket museum), young collectors can present their treasures. Whether stones, shells or snow globes – these comprehensive collections have often been compiled over the years.
